What makes the zipper on this busy board dangerous for children?
The Lontcs Busy Board has been recalled because its brown zipper contains lead above the federal limit. About 1,835 units were sold on Amazon between May 2024 and July 2026.

The toy and the part that fails
A busy board is a wooden panel fitted with hardware and puzzles that toddlers can manipulate. The Lontcs version includes a metal handle, a black plastic buckle with cream straps, a brown zipper, a metal latch, a caster wheel, a white doorbell, a lock with keys, a music box with a crank, a zig zag duck puzzle, an abacus with three rows of white red and tan beads, and a white fidget spinner.
Only the zipper exceeds the lead paint standard. The recall notice does not say how much lead was found or which lab performed the test. It states only that the level violates the federal ban. Lead is toxic when ingested by young children and can cause adverse health issues. No injuries have been reported.
The notice does not explain why the zipper alone triggers a full-board destruction. It does not say whether the lead is in the zipper teeth the slider or the fabric tape. It does not say whether other components were tested.
How the refund and destruction process works
Owners must stop using the board immediately. They email SQT at Lontcs@163.com to request a full refund. The company then asks them to unscrew every component from the wood board. After disassembly they must write RECALLED in permanent marker on the board itself. A photo of the destroyed toy goes to the same email address. Only then should the pieces be thrown away.
Who made and sold the product
The manufacturer is listed as Xianyouxianlichengshaungqiaotouqichemeirongdian doing business as SQT LLC of China. The English translation reads Xianyou County Licheng Shuangqiaotou Auto Beauty Shop. The boards were made in China. Amazon.com sold them for about thirty one dollars each over a twenty six month window. The recall number is 26-753. The announcement date is September 10 2026. Federal law prohibits any person from selling a product subject to a Commission ordered recall. The notice does not say whether Amazon has removed the listing or notified buyers directly. It does not say how many of the 1,835 units remain in homes.
