What does Samsung pack into 1,090 square meters at Gamescom 2026?

Samsung is bringing a full gaming ecosystem to Gamescom 2026. The exhibition covers 1,090 square meters in Cologne.

Four zones built around one theme

The show runs from August 26 to 30. Samsung calls the theme #PlaySamsung. The space splits into four dedicated zones. Each zone targets a different play environment. Odyssey Zone centers on monitors. Galaxy Zone focuses on mobile. Gaming Hub Zone demonstrates cloud streaming. T1 Zone puts professional esports gear on display. Visitors move between them without leaving the booth.

Odyssey Zone shows three monitor firsts

The headline product is the Odyssey G8, model G80HS. Samsung labels it the world's first 6K gaming monitor. Next to it sits the Odyssey OLED G8, model G80SH. That panel delivers 4K resolution at up to 240 Hz. The third standout is the Odyssey 3D, model G90XF. It renders glass-free 3D without extra eyewear.

Games on hand include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 from Activision. Pearl Abyss brings Crimson Desert. CD PROJEKT RED provides Cyberpunk 2077 with HDR10+ GAMING. That title and Cronos: The New Dawn run on the Odyssey 3D as well. The zone also highlights the 9100 Pro SSD. Samsung positions it as a gaming performance enhancer. Audio comes through the JBL Quantum 950 headset. The company describes it as tournament-level gear.

Galaxy Zone runs on a customized Snapdragon

Two flagships anchor the mobile area. Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy S26 Ultra both use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform for Galaxy. Samsung says the silicon delivers powerful gaming performance. Galaxy Buds 4 Pro add a low-latency gaming mode. New portable SSDs with next-generation interfaces sit beside them. The document does not quote capacities or speeds.

A software feature called Neural Frame Fusion debuts on the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold8. It generates pixels and frames in real time using AI. Samsung claims improved power efficiency in graphics processing. The result: high performance lasts longer and gameplay stays smoother. Hands-on titles span genres. Genshin Impact represents action RPG. Asphalt Legends covers racing. Honor of Kings brings MOBA competition. More games are available but not named in the release.

Cloud gaming and a pro player's desk

Gaming Hub Zone shows Samsung Gaming Hub. The service streams games directly to compatible televisions and monitors. No console required. No downloads needed. Hardware on display includes the Samsung OLED TV model S95H, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, and the JBL Quantum 650 headset.

T1 Zone partners with the global esports team T1. Visitors try the exact equipment used by Lee Sang-hyeok, known as Faker. He competes in League of Legends at world championship level.

Korean PC café atmosphere meets spatial 3D

The booth recreates a Korean PC café. The goal is a cultural experience for global visitors. Influencer matches and product-reveal events run throughout the week. A web application lets attendees register and complete missions. Points convert to rewards such as popular Korean snacks.

Spatial Signage uses glasses-free 3D displays. A visitor selects a T1 team member and stands in front of the screen. The system creates the impression of meeting that player in real time.

Tournament finals and a product launch date

August 27 and 28 host the World Finals of the #PlayGalaxy Cup in PUBG Mobile. Ten elite teams advanced through global preliminaries. They compete on a stage inside the booth for the championship. The same stage runs side programs. A special match pits popular gaming influencers against each other. An interactive racing program lets visitors participate. SSD influencer talks and raffle events fill gaps between matches.

The same day marks the unveiling of the full 2027 Odyssey gaming monitor lineup. Samsung promises industry-first technologies. New portable SSD products launch alongside them.

Promotions roll out across 22 markets

Samsung.com sites in South Korea, Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa will feature a Gamescom page. Special promotions accompany the page. Periods and offers vary by region. The announcement does not list specific discounts or bundle details.

What happens after Gamescom ends is not addressed. Whether the 2027 monitors ship immediately or later remains unanswered. The same goes for the new portable SSDs.
