What happens when a Fitbit Air meets Pokémon Sleep?
Google released a special edition Fitbit Air band themed around Pokémon Sleep. The tracker monitors sleep stages and connects to a mobile game where rest unlocks in-game rewards. Preorders open today with shipping starting September 15.
A band that looks like Pikachu fell asleep on it
The special edition arrives in a colorway called Sleepy Blue. A custom silk print label of Sleeping Pikachu sits on the strap. Like the original Fitbit Air the band is crafted to feel light and unnoticeable for 24/7 wear. Its micro-adjustable design makes it easy to find a comfortable fit before you head to sleep. The device is intended for ages 13 and up.
Sleep stages become game fuel
Google Health app tracks light and deep sleep stages each night using advanced algorithms. The system translates complex metrics into clear actionable guidance. Google Health Coach analyzes your trends over time to help identify what makes your sleep routine unique. Personalized tips follow from that analysis. Every purchase includes a three-month trial of Google Health Premium. The trial unlocks deeper tools and guidance. The offer ends on 5/26/27. New and returning users only. One trial per customer. Not transferable. A valid form of payment and compatible device are required. After the trial the subscription renews automatically at $9.99 per month. You can cancel anytime. Sleep tracking features are not intended to diagnose or treat any medical conditions. They should not be relied on for medical purposes. The data is intended to provide information that can help you manage your well-being. Consult your health care professional before making changes regarding your health.
How your night feeds Snorlax
Connect your Fitbit Air to the Pokémon Sleep app through Health Connect on Android or Apple Health on iOS. In settings allow Google Health to link with Health Connect or Apple Health. This enables Google Health to write your sleep data into other apps. Open the Pokémon Sleep app, navigate to Settings, and pair your device. Simply wear your tracker to sleep to automatically record sleep stages and sleep duration. Once linked your daily Google Health sleep stage and sleep duration data will automatically sync to the Pokémon Sleep app each morning. Your overnight sleep and a nap during the day both count. The app uses sleep duration tracked from Google Health to calculate a Sleep Score. That Sleep Score multiplies Snorlax's Strength to generate Drowsy Power. Pokémon with sleep types similar to yours gather around Snorlax when you wake up. Research their sleeping styles to complete your Sleep Style Dex. Befriend new helper Pokémon to your team. The Pokémon you befriend collect Berries to raise Snorlax's Strength. Higher Drowsy Power brings more Pokémon and rarer sleep styles around Snorlax the next day. The experience works with all Google Pixel and Fitbit wearables.
