What does the new Art Basel Paris collection bring to Samsung Art Store?
Samsung has added 19 artworks from Art Basel Paris 2026 to its Art Store. The expansion arrives on every Samsung Art TV in markets where the platform operates.
The nineteen additions
The drop landed on October 20, 2026. It joins the existing Art Basel library that already lived on the store. Two names sit at the top of the announcement. Elene Shatberashvili contributes "Poppies #4," a painting that leans on expressive color and close observation of everyday subjects. Hans Op de Beeck contributes "The Lounge (black and white)," a monochrome scene that depicts a meticulously constructed sculptural interior suspended in time. The pair illustrates two different artistic processes. One relies on brushwork and pigment. The other relies on form, texture, and staged light. Both now render on the same screen.
Hardware limits
Only select OLED models run Samsung Art Store. The S95H is supported globally. The S99H is supported in Europe. Footnotes list compatible 2026 models (R95H, S95H, QN80H, QN70H, M80H, The Frame, The Frame Pro) and 2025 models (Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, The Frame, The Frame Pro, Q8F, Q7F). The platform requires a paid subscription. Pricing, supported TV models, and available artworks may vary by country and region and are subject to change. The announcement does not say how many of these sets are currently in homes.
Partnership logic
Samsung calls itself the Official Art TV of Art Basel. Daria Greene, Global Head of Content & Curation for Samsung Art Store, frames the drop as a way to discover the range of artistic imagination within your own home. Karim Crippa, Director of Art Basel Paris, says galleries play an essential role in introducing audiences to artists. The collaboration extends the reach of those encounters. For visitors to the fair at the Grand Palais, the store offers a way to continue exploring select works at home. For everyone else, it offers a way to discover art from participating galleries without travelling to Paris. The announcement does not say whether the 19 works are exclusive to Samsung or for how long they will stay in the collection.
What the release leaves out
No download numbers, engagement metrics, or revenue split. The other artists and their galleries are not named. Subscription pricing changes are not clarified. Markets gaining or losing access this cycle are not stated. The footnotes admit variability but do not publish a master table. Anyone who wants the full current catalog must open the store on a compatible set.
